A deposit may be required when booking your appointment.

The total fee is $225.50 per 1 hour therapy session, with the option of having a Walk and Talk Therapy session.

Please respect that I wish to be available to as many clients as I can. With this in mind, please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment (under that time, you will incur a cancellation fee).

Follow the online scheduling links in your reminder emails to reschedule, or contact me and I can make the changes for you.

If you are unwell, please do not attend your session, simply reach out to me on 0409 868 886 and I'll reschedule your booking.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A WALK AND TALK SESSION

A Walk and Talk session is a confidential psychotherapy session offered outside as we walk together in nature. It’s a stroll though, not a workout, where we will concentrate on what’s been on your mind rather than counting steps.

Please ensure you’re wearing comfortable shoes, dress appropriately for the weather and let’s enjoy some fresh air together.

You will also have the opiton of sitting indoors in my consulting room if you don’t wish to walk.

CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY

All communication between you and the psychotherapist (Ailsa) will remain private and confidential. This means that Ailsa will not discuss your case orally or in writing without your expressed written permission (with some exceptions as explained below under Mandatory Reporting). All session notes are securely stored offsite, and you can have access to this information upon request.

MANDATORY REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

If during a therapy session you, (the client), discloses information that clearly indicates that there is a risk of imminent danger to yourself or to another person, the psychotherapist (Ailsa) is legally bound to take necessary steps to prevent danger. This includes, but is not limited to, notifying the proper authorities, and may involve cooperation with the authorities by disclosing the content of the therapy session that specifically relates to the perceived danger.

THERAPIST / CLIENT RELATIONSHIP

Please be aware that Ailsa will maintain professional and ethical boundaries with you to prevent the formation of a dual relationship between therapist and client, a situation that could lead to a conflict of interest.

REBATES / CONCESSIONS

As a psychotherapist Ailsa cannot offer clients any Medicare mental health rebates or private health rebates at this stage.
